A Poster Can Say a 1000 Words
Not only has the film “Watchmen” become a cult film with legions of fans who watch it repeatedly and entice others to join them in viewing it, but it has also spawned a legion of collectors of Watchmen movie posters who include both new and veteran fans of the film and the graphic novel upon which it is based.
A Watchmen poster, which include graphic depictions of various characters, scenes and themes from the film, were often issued in a series of six or eight posters, and introduced at events such as Comic-con. The introduction became an event in itself as fans rushed to obtain the every new Watchmen poster.

The first of the Watchmen posters was actually revealed at Comic-con 2007, about eighteen months before the film actually launched in March 2009. Warner Brothers then issued eight more Watchmen movie posters at the subsequent 2008 Comic-con, again in advance of the actual movie launch. Soon after Comic-con but still before the launch, six more Watchmen movie poster series were made available via various channels, and unofficial a Watchmen poster was making an appearance alongside officially issued posters.
